Sixth Prompt Expedition: Drawing & Art Challenge No. 1

Should you join...

Pick a prompt and then draw it, doodle it, paint it, carve it, etch it, model it, or summon it into existence with a stylus. Interpret the prompts however you like. Artists of all skill levels are welcome, from curious beginners to experienced creators. A post featuring your submissions will be made within a week after the challenge ends. Until then, reviewed ones can be seen in the Drawing & Art Challenge Albums at anytime.

Challenge Guidelines Open to read the submission rules
  • Original artwork only. Please submit work you created yourself.
  • No AI-generated artwork. Artwork created with generative AI is not eligible for this challenge.
  • No traced or copied artwork. References are fine, but the finished piece should be your own work.
  • Accepted Mediums Traditional and digital art are both welcome. Use whatever medium best brings your interpretation of the prompt to life.
  • Keep it appropriate for Nerdy Pleasures. Mature themes are welcome, but please avoid explicit sexual content.
  • Multiple submissions are welcome. You may enter more than one piece if inspiration gets its claws into you.
  • Image Type and Size Please keep artwork files under 1 MB if possible. JPG, PNG, and WebP are welcome. Smaller files help keep the Cabinet running smoothly.
  • Not every submission is guaranteed publication. I may limit the final gallery if the number of entries becomes too large.
  • Your artwork remains yours. You keep ownership of the artwork you submit. By submitting work to the Nerdy Pleasures Drawing & Art Challenge, you give Nerdy Pleasures permission to display that artwork on the Nerdy Pleasures website, including challenge posts, submission showcases, and related challenge pages. Your submitted artwork will not be sold, licensed to third parties, or distributed for use outside Nerdy Pleasures without your permission.
  • You’ll be credited. Artwork will be credited using the display name or handle you provide with your submission. If you provided a link to your work, it will be included as well.
  • Awards are for fun. Challenge awards celebrate memorable qualities in the artwork and are not intended as a formal ranking system.
