ASUS TUF Gaming 34” Ultra-Wide Curved Monitor is a winner.

The screen's full measurements is 34"D x 15"W x 10"H which is basically the same as two of my old monitors put together. I like how the wide width brings the edges of the screen almost to the edges of my peripherals. There isn't as much dead space framing the screen like with my old monitor. My view is sufficiently full of screen now. And the resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels is better than 1920 x 1080 pixels in my opinion. Video games look spectacular on the ultra-wide curved screen with the 180 hertz refresh rate.

I don't just use it for gaming tho. The bigger screen size has improved my workflow too since I'm able to pull up Firefox Browser and LibreOffice side by side without them competing for screen space.

With this I can copy paste previous work from one to the other easier or do research and write posts at the same time. Plus all this space offers even more options for screen division that I didn't feel was possible on my old monitor. I could also bring up Visual Studio Code on the right just below LibreOffice to make pasting code faster. Side View in my Firefox browser works better now too. I'm sure there are more use to come.

Cons

Cant tilt the monitor that much only between +23° to -5° on base.
Doesn't move up and down on base.
Ports aren't the easiest to get to.

Nerdy Take

The cons are easily fixed by mounting it on arm which I'll do eventually. Over all I couldn't be happier for both my husband and I. Being homebodies, we find our self in front of one kind of screen or another through out the day. Even books are read on screens these days. It does make reading on Archive.org a better experience. And with gaming being one of our top hobbies, it was about time we upgraded to the ultra-wide curved experience.
