Once I was introduced to Warhammer 40k, I fell in love with the whole thing but most of all the Orks and Da Great Waaagh! Don't get me wrong, Nurgle and Slaanesh are pretty cool too. And who doesn't love Salamanders and the Sisters of Battle? But the ork kulture is so much fun. So add the theme to miniatures and you have me sold.
Another thing I like is Orkoid physiology is a symbiotic combination of animal and fungus, integrated such that each augments the operation of the other and both work in perfect harmony. Even more remarkable, Orks create their own ecosystem🍄 that infests and reproduces wherever they go.
This world is GREEEEEN!

Also they have their own colorful magical belief system powered by Gork and Mork in the Great Green. Red makes it go faster. Yellow makes explosions bigger and projects wealth. Blue is lucky. Black is tough. White is deadly. And if they believe they are camouflaged then they most likely are despite what pattern they used.
So you can see why I've been buying orks left and right. I've only managed to assemble a Runtherder and his Gretchen, Kommandos, Goth Rocker, and some Squighog Boyz. Painted none. I still have in box Ufthak Blackhawk, Zodgrod Wortsnagga, Mozrog Skragbad, Pain Boss, Beast Snagga Boyz, Kill Rig, Rukkatrukk Squigbuggy, and another set of Squighog Boyz. Most of my models lean toward the Snakebites clan. I'm infatuated with squigs. They are adorable balls of fury.

But I like the idea of a Bad Moons or Freebooterz army. Rich or outcasts? Both seem great for some creative kit bashing and colour schemes. Once I make a decision tho, there's even more fun to be had in the backstory, names, and painting. Then I can giv'em da dakka dakka dakka, they deserve.
A great Waaagh! is brewing who will win this clash between three clans and become the next army to lead. Who's your favorite to win?
